What Types of URLs Are Detected?

Our intelligent URL extractor finds:

  • Full URLs with protocols: `https://example.com`, `http://example.com`, `ftp://example.com`
  • URLs without protocols: `www.example.com` (automatically adds https://)
  • Markdown links: `[text](https://example.com)`
  • HTML links: `href="https://example.com"` or `href='https://example.com'`
  • URLs in sentences: Automatically detects URLs embedded in the middle of text
  • URLs with trailing punctuation: Cleans URLs from sentence endings (removes trailing periods, commas, etc.)
